Centennial Library Services

Books

Books of Centennial LibraryOur library has 3000 plus fiction and non-fiction books, audio books, and DVDs for loan. We carry the Laramie Boomerang and several magazines for children and adults. Read and return books are provided at the Centennial Post Office 24 hours a day and at the library during regular library hours.

We are a branch of the Albany County Public Library (ACPL) located in Laramie, WY. Books available at ACPL can be requested at the Centennial Library and picked up at the branch in a few days. Book returns for ACPL in Laramie can be made at the Centennial Library. A convenient drop box is located just outside the library door.

You will need an ACPL card in order to borrow books. You can apply for a card at the Centennial or Laramie Library. Card holders enjoy a reciprocal relationship with other Wyoming libraries.

Computers and Internet

ComputersTwo computer stations are available for use. Both computers have high speed Internet connections and the complete Microsoft Office Suite. A library card is not required to use the computers and use is free. There is a 30 minute time limit, if others are waiting. Printer, scanner, and copier services are available. Black and white copies are $.10 per page and color copies are $.25 per page.

Wireless HotspotFree wireless service is provided. Mobile devices can be connected to the service inside or outside the library. A password is required to connect. Ask the librarian or volunteer for the currrent password. Library hours are Monday through Friday 11 AM to 3 PM.

Book Club and Story Times

A book club meets once a month year round. Anyone is welcome to join the club. Please check the calendar for dates and times. The library has weekly story times for Centennial Valley School children during the school year. Contact Riley Shogren for information regarding the book club.

Summer Cultural Programs

The Centennial Library and Cultural Association (CLCA), a non-profit support group for the advancement of the library and cultural programs in the valley, provides the library's physical facilities. During the summer CLCA sponsors numerous speaker programs at the library. Two or three speaker sessions are sponsored by the University of Wyoming Global Studies Program. Book Sale

In support of the library, books are on sale at our book store when the library is open. Their are also book sales at various events during the year. Please see the Community Calendar page for dates and times.
